Vesnivka Choir, together with the Canadian Bandurist Capella, will present a special concert marking the 40th anniversary of the Chornobyl Nuclear Disaster. Joining us will be the Canadian Children's Opera Company in a powerful commemoration of remembrance and reflection.

The program will feature Requiem/Panakhyda for the Victims of Chornobyl (2001) by Toronto-born Ukrainian Canadian composer Roman Hurko, as well as a newly commissioned work by Ukrainian composer Maksym Kuchmet.
