“We are a group of dedicated women and men who share a love of singing and are committed to the preservation and enrichment of our Ukrainian choral tradition.”

Membership

When you join Vesnivka Choir, be prepared to build lifelong friendships, learn about Ukrainian culture, travel, and express yourself through song.

Vesnivka Choir strives to share our Ukrainian culture through our music with diverse audiences in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), in Ontario, throughout Canada and around the world. As such, we aim to make our music accessible and enjoyable for all listeners and performers.

Vesnivka and TUMCC welcome singers of all backgrounds and identities. We acknowledge that systemic racism, ableism, and other forms of discrimination mean that those who are Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour (BIPOC), and those with disabilities, or who are members of the LGBTQ2S+ community face multiple, overlapping barriers to accessing the arts. As immigrants and descendants of immigrants, we understand that differences in identities, backgrounds and languages are strengths that enrich our lives, our communities, and the choral landscape.

A commitment to music
