This arrangement of a well-known Ukrainian song depicts the immigrant's longing for home and lament that no other country can replace one's homeland.
This piece was part of the repertoire performed during Vesnivka's memorable tour of Ukraine in July 1991. It was a particular favourite with audiences, as the tour occurred on the eve of Ukraine's independence from the Soviet Union.
