Welcome to Vesnivka’s e-Library of Ukrainian Choral Music

This public-domain music library supports the global sharing of Vesnivka’s sheet music with choirs and others interested in performing Ukrainian repertoire. The sheet music remains the property of Vesnivka. Users are granted unrestricted access to view, download no-edit copies, share, and perform this music. Vesnivka does not guarantee that the sheet music is free of errors, and the music may have been modified from the original scores. Use of any external links provided herein is at the user’s sole risk.

The creation of this e-Library was motivated by the desire to preserve the rich and diverse repertoire of Ukrainian choral music. Much of this music, especially for treble voices, was unavailable in published form or arranged for Vesnivka when it was still a girls’ choir.

This e-Library was made possible through funding received at the 1st Ukrainian Dragons Event, held during the Ukrainian Canadian Congress XXIV Triennial Congress in November 2013 in Toronto, from the following “Ukrainian Dragons”: Borys Chabursky, Ian Ihnatowycz, John Iwaniura, Nadia Jacyk, Eugene Melnyk, and James Temerty.

Created as part of Vesnivka's 50th anniversary legacy project, this e-Library reflects the dedication of many contributors. Vesnivka gratefully acknowledges the contributions of the following people to the initial and ongoing development of the e-Library: Luba Czyrsky, Myroslava Diakun, Joanna Fuke, Lesia Komorowsky, Halyna Kvitka Kondracki, Talia Lysiak, Nykola Parzei, Christina Sokulsky, Nadia Saragosa, Anna Teskey, Roma Holyk, and Andriy Kudla Wynnyckyj, with special thanks to Walter Korobaylo.

We encourage you to explore the repertoire in this e-Library, where you will find music suitable for children’s, youth, and women’s choirs. Future expansions of the music catalog will include works for other voicings, such as SATB.

Attached is a transliteration and pronunciation key for this e-Library, intended for non-Ukrainian speakers, including both English transliteration and the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) for singers.
